Przewalski's horses are the last surviving subspecies of wild horse. Przewalski's horses have never been tamed for riding, which means that they are the last truly wild horses in existence today. They were first described scientifically in the late 19th century by N.M. Przewalski , a Russian Explorer. They are the national symbol of Mongolia, the country of their origin .With a short, muscular body Przewalski's horses are smaller than most domesticated horses.
